Flattr is a social micropayment service that's taking the Internet by storm, offering users a novel way to donate money to content creators, who then benefit for their hard work. Users are able to pay a small amount every month and then click Flattr buttons on sites to share the money they paid among those sites, comparable to an Internet tip jar. Ubuntu 12.04 Disc Size Increased To 750MB, Above the Blank CD Limit!

Kiss goodbye to burning Ubuntu onto a regualr CD-R: the default disc size for Ubuntu 12.04 has been set to 750MB. In raising the .iso limit by a mere 50MB developers will benefit from a buffer of breathing room. Often during the development cycle tough choices have to made as to what can ship on the CD and what can't.
