LibreOffice 3.5 has been released.
It’s the third major release of the free open-source office suite since the project was forked from OpenOffice.
A variety of new features have been added to Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw and Base. An online update checker, which will inform users of a new release, also makes it debut in this release.

LibreOffce 3.5 will ship by default in Ubuntu 12.04. Users of Ubuntu 11.10 or earlier can download it from libreoffice.org/download.
For the more patient amongst you the LibreOffice PPA will likely add packages for 3.5 in the coming days.
