Ubuntu-dedicated hardware company System 76 has today announced the launch of two new laptops.
Both laptops are available in a variety of Intel Core i7 (Sandy Bridge) based configurations and sport Ubuntu 10.10 as primary OS.
The 15.6″ Matte-display Gazelle Professional, pictured above, comes with a base price of $1,239, whilst the the similar 15.6″ Serval Professional, touts itself as “the fastest, most powerful, Ubuntu laptop on the planet” – with a price tag of $1,379 price tag i’m not keen to argue!
Both entries sit towards the top end of System 76 product shelf. More affordable devices, such as the gorgeous Starling Netbook, start at $385.
