Splashed on a Samsung Galaxy Tab but miss the familiar trappings (or should that be tappings :P ) of Ubuntu?
Rejoice! Two users over on the XDA forums – which is a breeding ground for installing Ubuntu on Samsung hardware – have put together a how-to for doing just that.
Naturally this it as straightforward as sticking in a USB stick and clicking ‘install’ – but where would be the fun in that?! You will need to root the device, install emulators and SDK’s and a few other wares but once up and running it is, seemingly, quite sprightly.
