A small update to Ubuntu 10.10 a few days back brought something rather special to the table….
Nope, not a new icon set, PiTiVi with effects or even the stacks feature in Docky but a pause button for Rhythmbox, thus finally closing a bug first reported back in 2006.
Trivial? Maybe, but hell if it didn’t confuse me sometimes!
Props for the spot goes to the very ace Kyle Baker (who I’m intent on bullying into writing for OMG!) who surmises that the reason for the fix was likely “…so that the sound menu play/pause buttons and Rhythmbox play/pause buttons are consistent.”
