GNOME designer Allan Day has uploaded a new proposal for the ‘modification’ of system and application notifications in GNOME 3.

Although ‘mock-ups’ are just that – mock-ups – Allan has been at the forefront of designing GNOME 3’s look and feel.

His ‘Notifications Redux‘ design proposes moving notifications to the lower-left hand side of the screen. Many of the current GNOME notification features are maintained, such as urgency, actions, and hiding.
