Official online advertising promoting Ubuntu has begun to appear online.
Reader Martin N. mailed in this screengrab of one of the banners that he came across whilst reading Danish business news site epn.dk:
The adverts themselves link directly a promotional mini-site on Ubuntu.com, where, amongst the usual smattering of feature lists and pro-points, sits heavy emphasis on Ubuntu being ‘Virus Free’.
The landing page itself reads in large font:
“No viruses, no spyware, no hijacks. Welcome to Ubuntu”
Download buttons for direct download and WUBI installation are also prominently positioned.
