Only a few days back I mentioned that Intellihide would be an ace option for Unity’s Launcher to have….

Now it does.

What is intellihide?

To steal some words from the GNOME Do wiki, here is some reasoning on Intellihide Vs Auto-hide tweaked to make sense in the context of Unity

With intellihide enabled, any window in the active window group overlaps the Unity Launcher and the Launcher hides itself — that is, the Unity Launcher is only hidden when it needs to be by the active window.

With autohide, the Unity Launcher is only shown when the mouse is in the area of the Launcher (right hand side) and in all other cases is hidden.
