New Ubuntu Tweak Beta adds ‘desktop recovery’ feature

Notice: This post is more than a year old. It may be outdated.

Where would we be without Ubuntu Tweak? Arguably one of the most popular applications for end-users it just keeps on giving.

A new backup feature will be showing up in the next stable release and is already available for testing in the Ubuntu Tweak beta. The Ubuntu-Tweak team are calling it “a totally new feature to backup, recover and reset your desktop settings” .The addition of a ‘reset’ button to revert everything back to ‘default settings is a powerful boon.
