ViewNior is a lightweight image viewer that was designed with “simple and fast” as it’s mantra – and boy does it live up to it!
I’m kicking off my new ‘App Of The Week’ series with it because it’s just so wonderfully simple and yet a bit of a hidden gem! It can do everything the current Ubuntu default image viewer can but faster!

Using
Setting it as your default image viewer is a snap. Right clickany image and go to preferences. From there choose the ‘Opens With’ tab and select ViewNior.
