A bug in panel-bound RSS applet ‘Feed Indicator’ which saw feed items open in a users browser just by hovering over them has been fixed in its most recent update released this weekend.
The issue, which saw users who enabled the ‘Submenu’ feed feature experience feed entries opening in Browser tabs simply when of hovering over them, has finally been fixed – 3 months on from the release in which the issue first surfaced in.
The latest version of Feed Indicator – which looks so much nicer with http://omgubuntu.co.uk/feed’ added to it – is available to download in handy .deb format from the official site linked below.
Feed Indicator 1.03 works on Ubuntu 11.04, 10.10 and – possibly, although I’ve not tried – 10.04, too.
