Rss-Aware – a neat indicator applet for monitoring RSS feeds – has been updated to include a refresh button and an easier way to add and edit feeds.

Checking for new items is easier thanks to the ‘refresh’ button and launching the .txt file, where feed addresses are managed, no longer requires a manual hunt: just click ‘Add/Edit feeds’ and your default text editor will open with the file loaded up ready.

Don’t forget to add: –

http://feeds.feedburner.com/d0od
http://feeds.feedburner.com/ubuntugamer

to your list to keep up with news from both here and our sister site Ubuntu Gamer.

The ‘but’…

There’s still no easy way to mark all items as read, and both launching and exiting the app remains a rather inelegant affair. If you think you can help with eitehr of these issues get in touch with the developer via the download page.
