Simple DVD ripping tool EzDVD Rip is now available to try as a beta.
The tool is designed with the less experienced user in mind, so the main selling point of the app is it’s straightforward-ness: pop in a DVD, enter a file name and hit ‘rip’!
“produces pretty good results..”
Straightfoward it may seem but writing on his blog EZDVD’s developer David Gross is quick to point out what isn’t working so well in the beta:
“The progress bar doesn’t yet work and there is no “Balanced” [option] either. I have tested the other two and they seem to be working well. I have had particularly nice results with the “Slow” setting although it does take an age.The Fast setting produces pretty good results too and transcodes an awful lot…well…faster!”.
