Canonical yesterday unveiled the Ubuntu Software Store finally giving a name, and a face, to the integration of Add/Remove, Synaptic, etc starting in Karmic Koala.
Phoronix showed off some screenshots yesterday, which while a little ‘basic’ looking, certainly show the direction that the newly renamed ‘AppCentre’is going in.
Below I’ve posted a few of the screenshots with the accompanying mock-up designs – just to see what’s been implemented in this first version and what’s obviously still to come! You can find a few more screenshots over @ Phoronix’s site.
