comic convert scriptWant to convert crb or cbz to PDF on Ubuntu? OMG! reader Rumesh986 has mailed in with a script that does exactly that.

“Reading comics in PDF format is useful when trying to read on devices without the special software for reading cbr or cbz files. This makes it much easier to read comics from various devices,” Rumesh explains on the project’s Github page.

To help he’s created a tool called comic convert, which lets you quickly convert any *.cbr or *.cbz file to pdf.  Comic Convert has been tested on both Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and on the Windows Subsystem for Linux.

If you’re working with particularly large comic book files you will need to be patient during the conversion process.
