Desktop weather app Stormcloud was January’s best selling app on Ubuntu.
Made by prolific developers Caffeinated Code (Lightread, Nitro), the $2.99 app boasts a number of handy features, including customisable colours and multiple-location support.
The app was launched on Ubuntu Software Center in December of 2012, selling enough copies in a short space of time to rank #2 for the month.
Other Placings
Last months #1 selling app RC Mini Racers slips from last month’s pole position down into second place.
Fellow games Braid, Bastion and Torchlight all improve upon their December placings, with the latter re-entering the chart after a 1 month break.
Only two new entries feature for January: RPG Dungeon Crawler ‘Legend of Grimrock‘ and Unity utility ‘Drawers‘.
Dare Up! Wing Suit!, Machinarium & Mini Minecraft Launcher all fall out of the Top 10.
