The latest stable release of Firefox is now available as an upgrade in Ubuntu 12.04, 11.10 and other supported versions.
The update arrives just three days after the formal release issued by Mozilla.
Due to the ‘rapid release schedule’ used by the developers of Firefox the changes and updates in Firefox 12 are relatively minor:
- Improvements to ‘Find in Page’ search tool
- Line numbers appear in ‘Page Source’ view
- Support for the text-align-last CSS property
- Security and bug fixes
You don’t need to add, edit or download anything extra: just open Update Manager via the Dash and hit the ‘Upgrade’ button to install the latest version of the worlds most-popular open-source browser.
