Popular third-party ubuntu utility ‘Ubuntu Tweak’ has been quiet for the last fews month – but with good reason.

The developer behind the once ‘must-have’ application has been tailoring the tool for use with Ubuntu’s updated Unity interface and feature set.

Ubuntu Tweak 0.6, which is said to be ‘close’ to seeing a final release, has been revamped with a new look and new capabilities including options for tweaking Unity; implementing all features as ‘plugins’; and greatly improving the system cleaning function.
