Skype Wrapper, a third-party plugin that integrates VoIP client Skype with Ubuntu’s Messaging Menu, has been updated with some new features.
The change-log for the latest version of the utility, which is currently maintained by the awesome Shannon Black of theforge, includes: –
- Now removes items from Messaging Menu than have been marked read within Skype
- Listens for people coming and going offline
- Displays full name and avatar in notifications
- Uses Ubuntu’s native notifications
- Draw-attention for indicators
- Improved multithreaded listening to the skype APO
