Update: A representative from Canonical got in touch with us to confirm that UDS-P will be held in Orlando this October, but subsequent developer summits have yet to be booked.

UDS-O – scheduled to be held in Budapest next month to plan the Oneiric Ocelot (11.10) release hasn’t even happened yet, but the location and date for UDS-P has been booked for later this year.

We’ve received information that suggests Canonical has booked the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida for the 24 – 28 October this year to host its Ubuntu Developer Summit which will plan the Ocelot+1 release (12.04).

The Caribe Royale was the location for the last UDS in October last year, and the dates are almost identical for UDS-P.

Usually Canonical choose a different location in the world for every Ubuntu Developer Summit to change things up.

Not that this isn’t confirmed by anyone officially.
