A new mockup of Gnome Shell shown off at GUADEC this week gives us a hint as to what the it may look like further down the track.
While it’s a distinct improvement on what is currently available, I can’t help but think they’re taking a lot of inspiration from Unity and Jolicloud – but by the time Gnome Shell is finally finished sometime next year, will it be too late to try and compete with these and more shell-esque launchers?
