Sharp eyed reader Papukaija sent us a tip that Skype has been added to the Lucid Partners repository.
While we can’t be too hasty in assuming what that means about the rumors about Skype going open sourced(/open sourced UI), it is certainly a step towards making Skype a bit easier and a bit more friendly to install for the new user.
But, sadly, there are no new features or changes to get all hyped about. Hopefully we’ll see some of those new features like group Video chat show up in the Linux version of Skype soon.
