OpenSuse 11.2 was released today and what better way to nod your head to the distro who’s company (Novell) are behind so many wonderful applications Ubuntu users enjoy – F-Spot, Banshee, Evolution. (Well scratch that last one!)
Something Kubuntu fans might also get jealous over is the new “KDE Firefox” that Suse have tweaked and hacked to better fit a KDE environment as well as substantial improvements on OpenOffice in KDE.
Sonar
OpenSuse 11.2 comes with a new GTK theme for Gnome Suse users called Sonar. It is, expectedly , tinged with green hues but it has a lush overall feel.
