Ubuntu 9.10 uses Xsplash for its boot loading screen and though the default look is pretty, a number of different designs were proposed.
Below you’ll find 3 super awesome Xsplash themes based on those original design proposals.
But these aren’t static images; all come handy .Deb installers so you can install and witness them in action on your own system.
Each theme is the work of its respective designer, but all were brought to “life” by a nifty dude called Andrew – nice work, dude!

To reinstall Ubuntu’s default boot splash after trying one of these, run sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-xsplash-artwork in a terminal and reboot.
