A sumptuous set of 16 wallpapers have been selected for the Fedora 26 supplemental wallpaper package.
Each release the Fedora design invites users to submit original photographs for inclusion in the (rather austere-sounding) “Supplemental Wallpapers” pack. A group of Fedora contributors then vote on the submissions to pick 16 images to ship as part of the distro’s wallpaper pack.
And the results of the vote for Fedora 26, which is due for release in late June, are in.
As we’ve come to expect from the Fedora community, the standard of winning entries is exceptionally high. There is some terrific stuff in the winning set, including a Zen like composition (pictured above) and a stunning shot of our galaxy taken near the European Southern Observatory.
