GIMP has received a small bug-fix update, the first since the release of its last stable version back in May.
Amongst the fixes in this release are:
- Improved Canvas redraw
- JPEG load/save defaults are now remembered
- Tweaks to the positioning of pasted/dropped items
- Image window title now matches the save/export spec

Ubuntu users can expect to get the update through one of the many GIMP PPAs in the coming day or so.
