The papyon and telepathy-butterfly elements which power Empathy’s support for MSN has finally landed support for the p2pv2 protocol and enabled VoIP support.
Since the latest Beta of the official Microsoft MSN Messenger Live only carries support for the p2pv2 protocol this means Empathy now has the foundation to work with what seems to be the future protocol of choice for these operations. A long standing missing gap of functionality is bridged today
