Sezen contextualized file manager shown off [Video]

Notice: This post is more than a year old. It may be outdated.

Seif Lotfy from Zeitgeist and Elementary fame has been working on a new file searcher/browser called “Sezen” that provides contextualized results based on time and file type.

Sezen makes use of Tracker and Zeitgeist to give informative results, but is not meant as a replacement to Nautilus as it doesn’t support file management like copying, deleting and creating files and folders.
Seif says that it’s “heavily inspired by Unity and Shell and we hope it can act as a usability testing app until the both are out.”
Check out the following video for an overview of how it works:
Sezen should be available in the Elementary PPA soon.
