Looking for a fresh light theme to brighten up your desktop? Say hello to Pr09studio’s latest work: Smart GTK.

Smart GTK theme was designed with the new Ubuntu colour scheme in mind. As such, you can see from below that it works beautifully with the Ubuntu Mono-light icon set.

The theme has a tonne of custom touches including gradients on the menus, panel background, custom Metacity & its own wallpaper.

The designer of this theme has since removed the download link.

There are a few issue to note with Smart GTK. The volume slider doesn’t look pretty and GTK tabs have a unique look — but look like they are half finished to my eyes.
