In an effort to produce a 100% error-free manual for Lucid 2nd edition and beyond, we want to run a bug-squashing competition called “Show us ya bugs!”
It’s really simple and goes a little something like this:
- Head on over to ubuntu-manual.org and download the PDF of Getting Started with Ubuntu 10.04
- Find a bug and report it on Launchpad here
- If you find 10 new, unique bugs that are confirmed, you’ll get your name in the contributors list and credits as a “master bug squasher.”
All master bug squashers will then go into the draw to win a free printed and bound copy of the second edition of Getting Started with Ubuntu 10.04!
A bug is an unintentional grammatical, formatting, factual, or consistency error present in the final version of the manual. Bugs will be triaged and confirmed by our team.
