Ubuntu 10.04 Window Buttons back on the right (sort of)

Notice: This post is more than a year old. It may be outdated.

Welcome back to another round of Eyes down! Look in! where we briefly run-down some of the minor changes that Lucid has garnered over the last few days that we almost didn’t pick up on…

Buttons back on the right* (Thanks to everyone who sent this in!)

Window buttons are back on the right… *if you’re using a theme other than Ambiance of Radiance.

Software Centre (Thanks, again, to everyone who noticed this)

A gorgeous and very Ubuntu-esque software installation progress bar now comes into being – and a very nice job it is too.

Purple login screen icon

This one actually changed a few days ago but I somehow forgot to include it in the last ‘eyes down, look in‘. It’s pretty much the last Icon with a desktop in it that needed changing from brown to purple.

Scroll Volume Sound
Were you one of the many who longed to be able to change the volume simply by hovering over the sound indicator and scrolling? Well the feature is once again back in Lucid so scroll happy!
