A new experimental version of Spotify for Linux Preview is available to download.
This minor update brings the client to parity with the Windows and Mac clients, as well as fixing a number of bugs and crashes.
Right-click menus once again work, the often-misaligned ‘upgrade’ icon once again sits where it should, and, for me at least, the persistent crashing that plagued the previous release seems to have been solved.
But the experimental update is not without issue.
Local file playback is not supported due to a binary file change (but will be working in the next release); the application may crash if Adobe Flash is installed; and drag and drop from and to ‘Apps’ is not currently working.
