The third alpha release of racing simulator ‘Speed Dreams’ version 2.0 has been made available for testing.
This latest update to the fork of famous racing game Torcs sees new cars and tracks available, as well as improvements to the physics and ‘visual realism’ of the game.

The latest alpha release – and do please read the word alpha in that – is available to install on Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10 and 11.04 from the testing official ‘Speed Dreams’ PPA.
To install it, add ppa:speed-dreams/ppa to your Software Sources (see here for a how to on that), refresh your list of package, and then upgrade an existing install of Speed Dreams or install Speed Dreams fresh using the Ubuntu Software Centre or apt.
It should go without saying that if you find a bug you should remember to tell someone.
