Santa is not the only one delivering presents, the always hardworking Olivier Dufour, has just gotten past the last major technical hurdle in adding the DVD support he and Alex Launi have been working on.

This has been a frequent request from OMG! commenters so it brings me joy to tell you that it is running… though on my specific setup for some reason not well (e.g. no audio), this I suspect is down to something with my setup, never had much luck with DVDs on this machine.
Currently the code needs review and likely some work but the patch can be found here:

It is currently unknown if this will make it into 1.9.2 which is scheduled for January 12th.
