This will be great. I see a “Price: Free” which leads me to believe their will soon be a pay option. I hope they also implement a “Donate” option. :)

A “repair” or “reinstall” button should also be placed along with “repair/install” button to ensure users can fix broken packages and address some of the common issues with dependencies, signatures etc.

Why should we not include a “repair” or “reconfigure” or “reinstall” buttons along with “install/remove” buttons. This will ensure users are able to reconfigure some of the programs or repair broken packages.

Instead of reviews I’d rather see link to search through ubuntu forums for threads with common problems and other links to post that solved any problem with that app.

Review by users. Big no, no. There are posts, blogs and articles for many apps. People rather should read something valuable, not “WOW great app, Chrome sucks, no extensions”.

There will most certainly be a process for flagging ‘inappropriate’ reviews and removing them ASAP. Given i can’t imagine there will be gazillions of reviews submitted, this job will be fairly easy.

Ok but surely the ability to install multiple applications in one go (as in synaptic), instead of backwards and forwards for each piece of software, would be a greater improvement.
