I use [TAB] for hide/show tools/layers but trust me is not so comfortable, this option is great for who use GIMP at “human” resolutions, can’t wait :)!

Regarding the highlights, it just looks like someone’s gone around with a highlighter on your site. It looks a little too…comical, perhaps.

I think perhaps orange would be more appropriate, rather than bright yellow. I think the colour of the bottom bar, but with a slightly lower saturation (I think around 200 looks good, but that may just be me).

single window mode will be optional – so multi-window preferrers can still get their workspaces in a muddle to their hearts content! :P

Re: the yellow highlighted titles – THANK YOU for getting they were part of the ‘theme’ of the blog, sadly so many people don’t like them that’ll i’m removing them :(

They need to have detachable windows, it’s that simple. You should have the option to have separate floating windows if you want to, so I’m glad that will be implemented in future versions. Everything should be detachable!

BTW I don’t mind your yellow highlighted titles, don’t see what the big deal is. ^^ Goes with your site theme, but you might find something that looks nicer and still does, dunno.

Paint.mono has been very unstable in my experience. I like Paint.NET on windows, but I feel like GIMP is better and more powerful overall.

makes me happy i have recommended gimp to many people and alot of them didnt like the layout of it and stopped using it :(
