Sunny days ahead – Canonical has today announced that its working with The Weather Channel to bring its popular app to Ubuntu for Phones and tablets.
The 12 Ubuntu Touch apps being built as part of the Core Apps Project are available for testing on the Ubuntu desktop.
Canonical are to seek community involvement in the design and development of 12 core apps for the Ubuntu Phone. This initiative, they say, will give the wider community 'a fantastic opportunity to create software that could run on millions of handsets.'
