With its version number jumping up almost as fast as a kid on a bouncy castle, Yorba have announced a new release of digital photo manager Shotwell.
Version 0.9.2 of Shotwell contains numerous ‘critical publishing bugs’ that fix issues with Flickr, Picasa web albums and more.
Specific fixes include: –
- Fixes issue where cancelling Flickr upload can crash Shotwell
- Fixes issue where creating a Picasa Web album with an ampersand in the name crashes Shotwell
- Resolves bug where selecting “Publish” in single photo mode publishes the entire library instead of the selected photo
- Fixes issue with ratings filter where it didn’t function when the search bar was hidden

Yorba maintain a PPA with packages for the latest Shotwell packaged for Ubuntu 10.10 @ launchpad.net/~yorba/+archive/ppa.
The PPA also contains older versions of Shotwell for Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04.
