Dan Rabbit – creator of the phenomenally popular elementary gtk and icon themes and designer of related elementary projects – has shown off an Ambiance styled mock-up of his ‘Marlin’ file browser.
Seeing Dan’s ideas presented in non-elementary coating is always interesting for me.
Whilst many, many users do use elementary as their default theme there are just as many who don’t. By translating his design visions into a style of which more people are familiar with the merits of his work becomes even more apparent.
