The development team behind Ubuntu’s default video editor PiTiVi have announced the availability of a new pre-release version today.
The sneak-peek pre-release comes packed with many usability enhancements, bug fixes and, finally, transitions.
With the ‘final’ release due next Wednesday, anyone with a patience issue can install and test the pre-release from the GStreamer developers PPA (Lucid & Maverick only) but note that this is not advised for those of a nervous disposition!
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gstreamer-developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pitivi
