Everyone’s favourite GTK+ theme ‘elementary’ has gained a new metacity and panel style in a new release today.
Remember that new Elementary metacity we sneakily showed you a few weeks back? Well it’s been polished up and now the default Metacity for elementary – so if the mac-esque buttons of elementary previous have put you off, worry no more.
Love for Totem
The new version also sees attention lavished upon Totem – Ubuntu’s default movie player with it gaining some monochrome icons.

The new theme is available for Jaunty through Lucid and can be installed via the elementary PPA @ https://launchpad.net/~elementaryart/+archive/elementarydesktop
The elementary PPA also contains Docky, so if you’ve yet to try that out as well get apt-get’ing!
