A beta build of the next major iteration of Ubuntu is now available to get your Linux-loving paws on from the Ubuntu website.

Ubuntu 9.04 ‘Jaunty Jackalope’ ships with GNOME 2.26, includes a pair of slick new themes, a solid new notification system, a new splash screen, new login screen, and—take a breath—it boots up in super quick time too!
