A new version of flash-alternative ‘Lightspark’ has been released.
Notable changes since the last major release including a ‘new Advanced Graphics Engine, that should provide smoother and faster graphics’ and, much the delight of many users, it is finally possible to use Play/Pause on YouTube under Lightspark.
Lightspark can be installed via its own PPA @ ppa:sssup/sssup-ppa. To install via the Terminal run: –
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sssup/sssup-ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install lightspark
Note that Lightspark requires Adobe Flash removed before installation.
