As wide in scope as the Elementary project has stretched in the last few years it is still one canon short of an arsenal -  it lacks a dedicated Elementary-styled media player.

~jdorenbush over on DeviantArt has a gone a finicky furlong further than most by taking the lightweight music application ‘GMusicBrowser‘ and ‘Elementar-izing’ it.

Partly inspired by the aforementioned Rhythmbox_Elementary mock-up he has been busy, telling us that whilst he’s so far modified only the icons and layout he is “open to suggestions and thoughts.”

Sadly there’s no download for now either but tells us that ‘If people are into it, I’m sure I can figure out the best way to get it out to the public.’
