Users of the desktop Pandora application ‘Pithos’ may be trilled (bad pun, sorry) to hear that everyone’s favourite launcher ‘Docky’ has added ‘helper’ controls for the app in its latest development version.

The ‘helper’ adds right click controls to the dock icon, allowing application and playback management even when the application is minimized.

Docky Development PPA (not recommended for casual users or those susceptible to bouts of intense dread)

  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:docky-core/ppa
  • sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install docky

Pithos PPA

  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kevin-mehall/pithos-daily
  • sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pithos
