Animated short fantasy film SINTEL, created entirely in open-source 3D graphics suite Blender, sees its online release today after more than a year in the making.
The film is a marvel in both the talents of those behind it and the powerful abilities of the open-source software used to create it.
Further more the entire film is released under the Creative Commons license to allow filmmakers and animators the world over the chance ‘to study and reproduce every detail of the creation process’.
