It is a shame that they're not giving members CD's who have previously ordered from them but as it's a free service then no one can really complain.

Perhaps if you’ve exceeded your CD limit, then downloading the ISO from Ubuntu would be the best thing to do, so as to free up CD shipments for the newcomers to Ubuntu. If you've ordered CD's past it seems to be a lottery whether you'll be allowed any again. Annoying since this "limit" has never been mentioned before..My tip is simply to register a new launchpad account using a different e-mail and order them using that (don't go mad, it's people ordering 30, 40, 50 copies and then flogging them on eBay that has led to this)

Nothing’s wrong (apparently), Canonical (who pay for the Cd’s manufacture and distribution) are limiting the number of CD;s available and to whom. Strangely enough, it seems some people on the Ubuntu Forums who have never requested a single disc are getting the same error as well.

Apparently I’ve exceeded my limit of free CDs I’m allowed to request, and can’t download it. Even low end laptops and desktops come with 4 gigs of ram now. It seems shortsighted of them to only offer the 32bit version of Ubuntu. I hope they will correct this oversight soon.

I would think a majority of PCs now have 64-bit capable processors.
