Ubuntu 10.10′s new default wallpaper (for now at least)

It’s evolution rather than revolution on the Ubuntu 10.10 default wallpaper front – but is the image below really the default wallpaper or will there yet be a surprise found waiting on the desktop at a later date?

Either way this is, for now at least, Ubuntu 10.10′s new default wallpaper. Thoughts?

    Curiously, that’s essentially the same as the wallpaper installed by Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) on one of our systems. The others all have had custom wallpaper since many versions ago. Why the furore just now?
