deus ex md imageDeus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to Linux (and macOS) later this year, games publisher Feral Interactive has announced.

The cyberpunk action game was released on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 last month, making news of its imminent Linux port all the more surprising!

Feral Interactive plan to release Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Linux and macOS sometime “later this year”.

Further details are scant, though the company says on its new Deus Ex: MD mini-site that: “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to Mac using Apple’s Metal graphics API, delivering Deus Ex onto the OS in spectacularly polished form. Linux is in on the action too as the series comes to the platform for the first time ever.”

Full system requirements for Linux are yet to be revealed — but don’t expect to run this on a Crouton Chromebook install!

If you want to join the fun ahead of the Linux debut you can buy the game on Steam for $59.99.
