Screenshot sharing tool Screencloud has been updated with Ubuntu One and Imgur uploading support.

A tray-area applet, Screencloud lets you quickly take snaps of your desktop and its applications then upload them directly to one of several supported image hosting services.

The ‘plugins’ feature adds Imgur, Ubuntu One and Dropbox uploading. These, along with a number of pre-existing options, are accessible through the app’s Preferences section:

  • Set timer delay
  • Enable ‘Capture window borders’
  • Enable/Disable Notifications
  • Set Shortcuts
  • Enable Ubuntu One, Imgur & Dropbox plugins

Install Screencloud Update in Ubuntu 12.04 & 12.10

An old version of Screencloud is available to install through the Ubuntu Software Center. To use the new plugins you’ll need to grab the latest release, packaged up as easy-to-install .Deb files, direct from the Screencloud website.
